The professional metal industry fair of Engineering Works, the largest welding-themed fair in the Nordic countries Nordic Welding Expo and the 3D & New Materials fair will be held between November 29 − December 1, 2022 in the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. Free registration for the events is now open. At the same time on November 30 the new Hallituspaikka event will be organised for the first time. This event is geared towards companies and board experts and its theme is future board work.

The top event for metal industry machinery and equipment Engineering Works and the largest Nordic event for welding, joining, and cutting Nordic Welding Expo draw on solid expertise to bring the smith’s spirit up to date. After a long four-year wait the latest equipment, the most efficient machines, and the most advanced technologies are again at the forefront combined with meaningful encounters. 3D & New Materials, the professional event for 3D printing and new materials, covers industrial innovations and the most topical issues in the field, from design to manufacturing services, from equipment suppliers to technologies, research, and training in addition to future materials.

− Engineering Works and Nordic Welding Expo provide a chance to experience the machinery, equipment, and tools and related services out in the open. The fairs offer a significant opportunity for people to meet one another while witnessing the latest machinery, robotics, and lasers in real action. As for 3D production, the base is already solid, and this technology is becoming a major contender alongside more traditional production methods. The event gives an extensive view into how the industry has already learnt to utilise the 3D production method’s excellent features and its immensely versatile uses, also via different intelligent materials choices, says the project manager for this trio of events, Sami Siurola from the Tampere Trade Fairs Group.

This year’s themes for the Engineering Works and the Nordic Welding Expo fairs include advanced machinery, modern workshops and smart investments. The two events open a view into the new-age industry that is responsible, bright, and modern and where people feel well. In addition to the most advanced machinery, the event inspect the current financing solutions and sustainable investing. At the new 3D & New Materials event, the complete package of printing is comprehensively displayed from development to end product. The event will also show you the latest materials solutions in the field of the manufacturing industry. The Engineering Works, Nordic Welding Expo, and 3D & New Materials set of events is a unique meeting place for the industry’s professionals, future experts, and the most interesting companies. Future Board Work

The new Hallituspaikka event will be organised on Wednesday November 30, 2022, in the D Hall of Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. The event is subject to a charge and is geared towards companies and board experts and its theme this year is future board work.

– The world is changing in a rapid and unpredictable manner, and this requires taking a different view on things in board work too and that is why this year’s theme has proven quite apt. The event offers a rewarding package of discussions, shared expertise, and networking.
